Family friendly with plenty of space for all
Buenavista is a spacious country house with a private swimming pool set in beautifully landscaped gardens. As its name would suggest, it has amazing views of the countryside and the Sierra de Lujar mountains.
Buenavista is next to Jasmin Cottage (also available for rent), but is entirely separate from it. Buenavista sleeps 4 adults and 2 children and is a perfect base for exploring Granada, the coast and Las Alpujarras.
The house has three bedrooms, sleeping 4 adults and 2 children: one double, one twin bedded, one with two bunk beds. Buenavista is next to Jasmin Cottage (also available for rent), but is entirely separate from it.
Whilst the properties are next door to each other, each property has independent access by its own electric gates.
The front door opens onto the bright and expansive open-plan room that comprises the living room, dining room and kitchen.
The sunny kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for preparing meals while on holiday. The cosy living room has comfy sofa and chairs, smart TV and wifi internet. The living room has views to the plant-filled gardens, fountain and swimming pool.
Passing through the kitchen on this level there is a landing area with a pantry. This hallway leads to the twin bedded room which has an en suite shower room and an adjacent salon.
From the inner hallway there are four steps down to a larger hallway leading to two bedrooms (the double and the bunk bed room) and two bathrooms.
There are mounted electric oil-filled radiators in all rooms and portable fans will be provided for each bedroom in the summer.
The swimming pool is where you’ll want to while away your sunny holiday days! You can see the pool from the house, it’s about 8 x 5 metres, and is an elegant curved shape to complement the surrounding garden (the main lawn is AstroTurf to save precious water). A fountain and fish pool enhances the calm. Sunloungers are provided for you to take full advantage of the peace and tranquillity of the garden. The grounds and gardens of both the main house and cottage are well maintained.
Accessing the property through the electric gate, the grounds of Buenavista are on many different levels and are filled with colourful plants, trees and shrubs. There is a large gravel drive and parking area, along with a double car port and wood store. A slightly raised paved seating area overlooks the gardens, the pool and the town of Órgiva in the distance.
A pretty wisteria-planted, ramped walkway leads you to the entrance of the house which features a covered dining terrace for 6 people. This outside dining area is surrounded by trees with a lovely panorama of Órgiva and its landscape. Although the outside spaces are well lit, night-time dining under the stars on a summer’s evening with friends and family is what Spanish country living is all about.
